What is it?

 Travel with River Club Poker, LLC. and participate in Texas Hold’em tournaments for a chance to win cash and gift prizes. These tournaments are hosted by 501c (3) non-profit organizations as fundraising events.

How does it work?

 Interested players must first register with River Club Poker, LLC. to become a member of the poker tour series.  Once you are registered, follow the River Club and compete for cash and points. Members of the C.O.P.T.S. play for cash at each individual festival’s tournaments, and for points to win prizes based on accumulating points awarded at each festival.  At each festival, members will pay an additional $5 that will go into the “free roll” tournament, where the top 27 in points will play for 100% of the cash and gift prizes. 

What are you playing for?

 Members’ tournament placement determines the amount of points awarded. Members placing in the top 27 at the end of the tour series will play in a “Free Roll” tournament to play for cash and gift prizes.  Everyone who plays in the “Free Roll” tournament will win River Club Poker apparel. Whoever makes it to the final table will have a chance to win gift prizes.

• 1^st Place - World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event buy-in or cash prize worth $10,000. Series bracelet, Champions plague.
• 2^nd Place-  27% of “free roll” tournament money, 8’ River Club Poker Texas Hold’em table.
• 3^rd Place- 15% of “free roll” tournament money, 8’ River Club Poker Texas Hold’em table.  
• 4^th Place-  13% of “free roll” tournament money, $75 gift certificate to your local mall.
• 5^th Place-  10% of “free roll” tournament money, $75 gift certificate to your local mall.
• 6^th Place-  9% of “free roll” tournament money, $50 gas certificate.
• 7^th Place-  8% of “free roll” tournament money, 300 piece poker chip set /case.
• 8^th Place-  7% of “free roll” tournament money, 300 piece poker chip set /case.
• 9^th Place-  6% of “free roll” tournament money, 300 piece poker chip set /case.
• 10^th Place- 5% of “free roll” tournament money, 300 piece poker chip set /case.

RULES FOR 2008-2009 CENTRAL OHIO POKER TOUR SERIES

1) All Players must be a member of The C.O.P.T.S. in order to compete for the tour series prizes. Any                                                individual over the age 18 can become a member of this tour. Players can register one of the following ways: Phone, E-mail, website, prior to any event.* If you are not registered prior to the start of an event, you may not earn points from that event.

2) Members can only earn points from festivals that are part of the Central Ohio Poker Tour Series.

3) Points may not be transferred to any other person.

4) There is no limit on the number of festivals or events that a player may participate in.

5) There must be at least 18 players participating in any event for points to be awarded.

6) Each 501c (3) non-profit organizations festival hosting No Limit Texas Hold’em tournaments are completely responsible for their tournaments rules. River Club Poker, LLC. has no authority to change rules, blind schedule, or anything that pertains to the game of chance.  The 501c (3) organization hosting the festival is responsible for the rulings and tournaments.  Their decision is final. Remember, all tournament dealers are volunteers of the 501c (3) organization, please treat them as such.

7) If a festival has two or more tournaments during the festival, then points will be issued per tournament no matter cost of buy-in to each tournament.

8) Re-buys and add-ons have no effect on points.

9) Players must play for themselves to receive points; Players are subject to validation with the check of ID

10) All tournaments MUST be played out for points. (Final table money may be split whenever players agree to do so, however all tournaments will be played until there is a winner.  Regardless if other players at the table are not in the point system. 

11)  Players must report to the tournament director or other designated tournament volunteer immediately following elimination from a tournament to fill out point award form.  These forms must be completed and signed before a player can receive points for that tournament.

12) Point System is as follows: 

 * For tournaments with 18 – 36 players

 1^st Place = 100 points

2^nd Place = 70  points

3^rd Place = 60  points

4^th Place = 55  points

5^th Place = 50  points

6^th Place = 45  points

7^th Place = 40  points

8^th Place = 35  points

9^th Place = 30  points

10^th – 18^thPlace  = 20  points

19^th – 27^th Place = 15  points

28^th – 36^th Place= 10   points

• For tournaments with 37 – 78 multiply the above chart of where you finish x 2 if in the top 36, with 37 – 78 getting 10 points.
• For tournaments with 79 – 108 multiply the above chart of where you finish x 3 if in the top 78, with 79 – 108 getting 10 points.
• For tournaments with 109 and more players multiply the above chart of where you finish x 4 if in the top 108, with 109 and up getting 10 points.

2008 - 2009 “FREE ROLL” TOURNAMENT RULES

1. You must be in the top 27 of the tour series to be eligible for the “Free roll” tournament. 

2. No Buy-ins for this tournament.

3. The Season will start in September 2008 and run through June 2009. The Free roll tournament will be in June, 2009 with dates, place and times TBA.

4. Weekly updates of series standings will be available on www.riverclubpoker.com and at all festivals. Updates will be posted by Thursdays.

5. Each festivals 501c (3) non profit organization has final decision on whether their event will be a Central Ohio Poker Tour Series event for points and will announce it at the beginning of each tournament.  Any decision made by the 501c (3) non profit organization is final.

6. Rules on the Free Roll tournament are as follows:  All players will start out with a mimimum   $4000 in chips; blinds will double every 30 minutes. Blinds start at $25/$50.

The member with the most points at the end of the tour series will begin the “Free Roll” tournament with 7000 in chips.

2^{nd - in points will begin with 6500 in chips}

3^rd - in points will begin with 6000 in chips

4^th – 8^th in points will begin with 5500 in chips

9^th – 13^th in points will begin with 5000 in chips

14^th – 18^th in points will begin with 4500 in chips

19^th – 27^th in points will begin with 4000 in chips

*ANYONE WHO WINS A TOURNAMENT WILL ALSO RECEIVE A $100 BONUS CHIP TOWARDS THE FREE ROLL.

7. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate.

8. River Club Poker, LLC. employees are not eligible for points or prizes offered by the Central Ohio Poker Tour Series.

 9.  Must complete at least 10 festivals for prizes to be awarded.

10. Festival must be scheduled, submitted, and posted at least seven days in advanced for it to be a Central Ohio Poker Tour Series event.  The committee has the right to change any rule, schedule, or any matter that concerns the Central Ohio Poker Tour Series at any time. The website www.riverclubpoker.com is the official schedule.

11.  Any rule violation can result in point forfeiture and further action up to and including expulsion from all Central Ohio Poker Tour Series points.  River Club Poker, LLC. is in no way operating or assisting in the operation of the game of chance.  All tournaments are individual festivals hosted by 501c (3) organizations and their volunteers.  Rules are subject to change based on what is the best for the fairness of the Series and its non-profit participating groups and its players.  Participating 501c (3) non-profit organizations have final and all decisions on rules.
