What is it?
Travel with River Club Poker, LLC. and participate in Texas Hold’em tournaments for a chance to win cash and gift prizes. These tournaments are hosted by 501c (3) non-profit organizations as fundraising events.

How does it work?
Interested players must first register with River Club Poker, LLC. to become a member of the poker tour series. Once you are registered, follow the River Club and compete for cash and points. Members of the C.O.P.T.S. play for cash at each individual festival’s tournaments, and for points to win prizes based on accumulating points awarded at each festival. At each festival, members will pay an additional $5 that will go into the “free roll” tournament, where the top 27 in points will play for 100% of the cash and gift prizes.

RULES FOR 2008-2009 CENTRAL OHIO POKER TOUR SERIES
1) All Players must be a member of The C.O.P.T.S. in order to compete for the tour series prizes. Any individual over the age 18 can become a member of this tour. Players can register one of the following ways: Phone, E-mail, website, prior to any event.* If you are not registered prior to the start of an event, you may not earn points from that event.
2) Members can only earn points from festivals that are part of the Central Ohio Poker Tour Series.
3) Points may not be transferred to any other person.
4) There is no limit on the number of festivals or events that a player may participate in.
5) There must be at least 18 players participating in any event for points to be awarded.
6) Each 501c (3) non-profit organizations festival hosting No Limit Texas Hold’em tournaments are completely responsible for their tournaments rules. River Club Poker, LLC. has no authority to change rules, blind schedule, or anything that pertains to the game of chance. The 501c (3) organization hosting the festival is responsible for the rulings and tournaments. Their decision is final. Remember, all tournament dealers are volunteers of the 501c (3) organization, please treat them as such.
7) If a festival has two or more tournaments during the festival, then points will be issued per tournament no matter cost of buy-in to each tournament.
8) Re-buys and add-ons have no effect on points.
9) Players must play for themselves to receive points; Players are subject to validation with the check of ID
10) All tournaments MUST be played out for points. (Final table money may be split whenever players agree to do so, however all tournaments will be played until there is a winner. Regardless if other players at the table are not in the point system.
11) Point System is as follows:
* For tournaments with 18 – 36 players
1st Place = 100 points
2nd Place = 70 points
3rd Place = 60 points
4th Place = 55 points
5th Place = 50 points
6th Place = 45 points
7th Place = 40 points
8th Place = 35 points
9th Place = 30 points
10th – 18thPlace = 20 points
19th – 27th Place = 15 points
28th – 36th Place= 10 points
o For tournaments with 37 – 78 multiply the above chart of where you finish x 2 if in the top 36, with 37 – 78 getting 10 points.
o For tournaments with 79 – 108 multiply the above chart of where you finish x 3 if in the top 78, with 79 – 108 getting 10 points.
o For tournaments with 109 and more players multiply the above chart of where you finish x 4 if in the top 108, with 109 and up getting 10 points.
12) Players must report to the tournament director or other designated tournament volunteer immediately following elimination from a tournament to fill out point award form. These forms must be completed and signed before a player can receive points for that tournament.
